Not guilty plea entered in Huber Heights murder

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – The man accused of shooting and killing a Huber Heights mother was in court Thursday.

Ryan Mitchell will stay behind bars on a $1-million bond after his arraignment on murder charges.

He is accused of killing Melissa Nilson, 26, in the front yard of her Cree Avenue last month.

She leaves behind a 4-year-old child. The court entered a not guilty plea for Mitchell.
