SIDNEY, Ohio (WDTN) – Firefighters say an apartment fire in Sidney was worse than it looked.
Fire crews were called to 237 West South Street at 11:30 a.m. They arrived to find the second floor on fire. Crews say fire found its way in the walls and they had search the building for hidden hot spots.
No one was inside at the time. The people who live in the apartments cannot stay there. The Red Cross is assisting them.
The cause is under investigation.
