Copper stolen from vacant home

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) –Dayton Police are looking into a copper theft from a vacant home.

Officers were called to the 1400 block of North Euclid Avenue Friday after noon.

Police said a property management worker came to the home to do some repair work. When the worker arrived, he found someone had kicked in the  side door and stole copper pipe and wire.

According to police, the house had been vacant for at least a month.

They don’t know when the incident occurred.

Police are still investigating.
