Crash in front of West Carrollton high school sends 3 to hospital

WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A head-on collision in West Carrollton is under investigation.

It happened around 6 p.m. Saturday on W. Alex Bell Rd. in front of West Carrollton high school.

Police tell 2 News a car crossed the center line, slamming into another car coming from the opposite direction.

A total of three people were taken to the hospital. Police believe at least one person had a serious injury.

Both cars have significant front-end damage. They are being inspected as part of the investigation.

Police say it’s unclear if any of the occupants was wearing a seat belt.

2 News checked with police to find out if either driver will be cited. We were told that decision will be made once officers further examine the evidence.
