DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating a breaking and entering into the Sunrise Center.

When officers arrived to 1320 East Fifth Street after 11:30 p.m. Thursday, they found the glass doors were shattered. They also spotted muddy footprints where it appeared someone climbed inside of the building.

Officers searched the building for suspects, but did not find anyone.

The facility supervisor met with police on scene and walked through the building. He said it didn’t appear that anything was taken.

Police are still investigating.

The Sunrise Center is a WIC clinic that helps provide foods, health care, and nutrition education for low-income and pregnant women.
