Scrap parts stolen from Dayton warehouse

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are searching for a suspect who broke into a Dayton warehouse and stole scrap metal.

Police were called to Lau Parts at 4509 Springfield Street after 10 a.m. Friday on reports of a theft.

According to witnesses, a white male in a green Jeep Cherokee walked into the warehouse, took scrap parts and metal, loaded it into his vehicle, and then drove away.

Police are still looking for the man.
