Dollar General held up

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating after a Dollar General was held up.

Officers were called to the Dollar General located at 445 Salem Avenue after 3 p.m. Saturday.

According to police, a man walked into the store, said he had a gun and demanded cash. The suspect grabbed the money out of the register and then ran from the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 years old, wearing a black zip-up hoodie, black pants, dark colored boots, and a blue winter style hat with brown fur on the inside.

A K-9 was called in to track the suspect.
