Teens jumped while playing basketball

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are investigating after two teens said they were robbed while playing basketball at an elementary school.

The incident happened in the 2800 block of Oakridge Avenue after 6 p.m. Saturday.

According to police, two teens were playing basketball with friends at Westwood Elementary School. During this time, they got into a fight with several other males who had been watching them play.

The two teens told officers during the fight, they were jumped. They said four males pulled out guns and took their cell phones and money.

The teens ran from the scene.

Dayton Police are still investigating.
