Wanted: Workers in construction trades


DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Construction workers on the job trail have a chance to meet a lot of prospective employers all in one place.

The 2014 Construction Job Fair is set for Wednesday, March 12 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Dayton Convention Center on East Fifth Street in downtown Dayton.

The Montgomery County’s Workforce Development team says as many as 50 employers will be on hand looking to hire for more than 300 positions in the construction trade.

The event is free. Attendees should bring copies of their resumes and should dress for success.

Positions available include plumbers, roofers, electricians, carpenters and landscapers to name just a few.
