HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – The State Fire Marshal ruled it an arson and is offering a $5,000 reward for information about the fire that destroyed a Harrison Township house early Wednesday morning.
When firefighters arrived at 2405 Berwyck Avenue around 2 a.m., they said the fire was fully involved.
Orange flames and thick smoke could be seen from miles away. 2 NEWS heard from viewers who saw the fire from their cars while driving on I-75.
Fire crews from Huber Heights and Butler Township were called for mutual aid assistance. No injuries were reported.
2 NEWS learned the vacant house was recently purchased by an organization called Third Chance Ministries for $9,000 cash. Third Chance Ministries officials said the house was not insured.
