GERMAN TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – A Clark County man is facing charges after investigators said he called 911 more than 40 times, but never had a real emergency.

Investigators said Donald Wakefield was told to stop on numerous occasions and even charged him with three misdemeanor charges of immunity.

During the calls, Wakefield complained about things like how he was treated at the hospital, to warn that a helicopter was coming to get him and to ask authorities for a ride.

On Tuesday, the Clark County Prosecutors Office decided to file more serious felony charges.

Wakefield is expected in court on Friday.
