UD preps arena for First Four

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN)- First Four preparations are underway at the University of Dayton Arena.

The 2014 NCAA men’s basketball tournament will begin in Dayton March 18, 19. The four games are played over a two day period as an opening to the annual 68-team extravaganza.

Arena staff installed the arena floor and set up the playing area Wednesday.

Dayton has hosted the NCAA’s First Four since 2001, but has yet to secure the games past 2015.
