Man says he was held captive for two days

CHAMPAIGN CO., Ohio (WDTN) – A Champaign County man says he was held captive for two days.

Deputies are now investigating the abduction.

The victim told investigators his pickup was forced off Thackery Road near Coffin Station Road on March 6.

He says some men forced him into their car and drove him to the Springfield area, where he says he was held until March 8. The victim says he was released in the area of State Route 41 and Upper Valley Pike in Springfield.

The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone who has information about what happened to call 937-484-6091.
