DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Family and friends will gathered Thursday evening to remember a man hit and killed by a car.

They gathered in memory of Christopher Frock in the parking lot of the Gateway Shelter on Gettysburg Avenue.

Frock was hit by two cars Saturday night about a block from the shelter.

He was not in a crosswalk.

Family members spoke with 2 NEWS about working to make Gettysburg Avenue a safer place for walkers.

The city says it will conduct a traffic study to see if safety changes are needed.
