Air conditioner units stolen from apartment building

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are on the lookout for a suspect who stole air conditioner units from an apartment building.

According to the police report, officers were called to the 4600 block of Frederick Pike just before 1 a.m. Friday.

A resident told police he was sleeping in his bedroom, heard a noise outside, and saw a person kneeling in the grass. He turned on his bedroom light and the suspect fled the scene.

Upon investigating, police found two air conditioner units had been stolen from the front of the building.
