OAKWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) — Saxbys Coffee Shop held its grand opening Saturday morning at its location on Oakwood Avenue in the new Routsong Commercial Center.

About 30 people packed the new coffee shop for some freshly brewed coffee, and the first ten people in line were given free coffee for a year.

“We do make a great cup of coffee, but the fact is, it’s a great place for the community to come together and be able to spend time with the friends and the neighbors here,” said owner Tommy Routsong.

Saxbys says its the only coffee shop in the area with a drive-thru.

The shop says it will hire 20 people to keep the store running.

Other tenants coming to the Routsong Commercial Center include Firehouse Subs and Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt.

Saxbys Coffee is a Philadelphia-based coffee shop that was founded in 2005.
