New grant to improve Fairborn park

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – A big grant will make getting to a Greene County Park even easier.


The city of Fairborn is getting $4,000 to make just one entrance to Fairfield Park on Broad Street.


City manager, Deborah McDonnell says, right now, the park has two entrances.  That confuses some visitors.


She says the new entrance will take people directly from the park to the city’s main hub of restaurants and hotels and be a big economic boost to the community provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
