OSU students warned about mumps outbreak

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WDTN) -Ohio State University administrators have a health warning for students returning from Spring Break.

A mumps epidemic is swelling up on campus.

University officials sent emails, put up posters and took to social media to warn everyone to do their part to stay healthy.

So far, 21 cases have been identified.

Students and staff are encouraged to wash their hands and follow cough and sneeze etiquette in order to contain the outbreak.
