Fairgrounds vote postponed again

The University of Dayton and Premier Health announced plans to buy the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in January.

BROOKVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – A final vote on moving the Montgomery County Fairgrounds is postposed another two weeks.

Brookville city officials tabled the vote Tuesday night, saying they had some final legal issues to tackle.

2 NEWS was first to tell you that fair officials want to relocate the fairgrounds to an area just northwest of Interstate 70 and Arlington Road.

In previous meetings, developers have addressed changes residents want to see in the building process, like making sure all access roads and walkways are paved and not gravel.
