Dayton man sentenced for murder

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A local man could spend the rest of his life in prison for the murder of a Dayton man.

Mitchell Gray, Jr. was sentenced to 15 years to life for the murder of Robert Munday back in 2012.

He was also sentenced on weapons charges. Add up all the punishment for his crimes and he’ll spend 36 years to life in prison.

Munday, 34, was shot and killed on Genessee Avenue.

Gray was found guilty of murder and aggravated robbery.

His accomplice, Linda Kay, is also serving prison time for the murder.
