Marshals arrest home invasion suspect

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A home invasion suspect is in custody.

U.S. Marshals announced Thursday that they arrested Shawn Hagler, 33, on Riverview Terrace in Dayton.

Hagler is wanted for a home invasion on March 28, 2013 in the 400 block of Pleasant Avenue. He is accused of holding the residents at gunpoint while he and another suspect stole cell phones, keys and money.

Marshals say they arrested Hagler without incident. He’s been on the run a year and a half.

Charges against Hagler include aggravated robbery, burglary, fleeing and eluding, intimidation and domestic violence.

Hagler was posted on our Crime Stoppers Most Wanted list several times since the crime.
