DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The University of Dayton Flyers are now gearing up for their next big game in the NCAA Tournament.

The Flyers will take on Syracuse Saturday evening at 7:10 p.m. in Buffalo.  Tickets are already few and far between.

UD beat The Ohio State University Buckeyes 60-59 Thursday in a good old fashioned buzzer beater.

The Flyers are now the only Ohio team in the tournament.

The Flyers are an 11th seed while Syracuse is the third seed in the south region. Syracuse defeated Western Michigan in the first round 77-53.

Many sports writers say the Flyers pulled off an upset, but whether you agree with that or not, the Flyers are a national sensation right now, even making front page news in the Wall Street Journal.
