Child flown to Dayton Children’s after crash


BUTLER TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – A child was rushed to the hospital after a crash Friday afternoon in Butler Township.

The Careflight helicopter was called to transport the child to Dayton Children’s Hospital. We’re told the child suffered serious injuries.

Police say a pickup truck and a car collided at Peters Pike and Stonequarry Road around 1:30 p.m.

The child’s mother was taken by medic to Miami Valley Hospital as was the pickup driver.

Exactly why they collided is under investigation.
