Man on bicycle tries to rob woman in Rite Aid parking lot

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating an attempted robbery in a drug store parking lot.

Officers were dispatched to the Rite Aid at 2532 East Third Street before 9 p.m. Friday.

According to officers, a woman was getting out of her truck and was approached by a man riding a red bicycle. Police stated the man grabbed the door of her truck and demanded her keys. The victim honked her horn for help and kicked the suspect.

The suspect fled the scene on his bicycle.

The victim was not hurt.
