DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Around 3 a.m. Saturday morning, the Piqua post of the Ohio State Patrol spotted an SUV traveling northbound on I-75 with no tail lights. When officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, the vehicle exited onto St. Rte. 571 in the Tipp City area and immediately got back on the highway southbound.

The officer pursued the vehicle southbound on I-75. The car finally came to a stop on the corner of Anna Street and Edison Street after hitting a speed bump and getting a flat tire. The suspects then got out of the SUV and ran.

According to troopers, a K9 unit from the Riverside Police Department was called in to attempt to track the suspects, but because of so much foot traffic in the area already, the sewas called off.

Officers also said the vehicle was stolen out of Dayton.
