DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A University of Dayton student was arrested after police said he was intoxicated and became combative with officers.

Officers were assisting with the melee that broke out on the University of Dayton’s campus early Sunday morning, when they noticed a disorderly subject at Timothy’s Bar.

According to police, 20-year-old Kevin Kluesener got into a verbal confrontation with one of the security guards as the bar was closing around 2:30 a.m. An officer escorted Kluesener off the property but he became combatant.
