DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Spring flowers are bursting through the soil, yet snow is back in the forecast.

Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Jamie Jarosik is watching a system that could bring up to an inch of snow to parts of the Miami Valley Tuesday morning.

Any accumulation will be light, and mainly on grassy areas and raised surfaces.
“If you stay in the office through lunch, you might miss the snow all together,” Jarosik said. “It will come to an end after 2 or 3 p.m., so the drive home from work will be dry.”

The southern Miami Valley has the best chance at getting any measurable snow and maybe a few slick spots on the road.

The high Tuesday is 33 degrees.

Temperatures will head upward through the week. We should be back in the 50s by Friday.

The normal temperature this time of year is 53 degrees.
