Mercer County man accused of attempted murder

CELINA, Ohio (WDTN) – A Mercer County man has been indicted on attempted murder and drug charges.

Colin D. Uhlenhake, 29, of 211 S. Brandon St., Celina, is accused of pointing a gun at a woman’s head during a domestic dispute March 9.

Police said when she pushed the gun away, the gun discharged.  A 2-year-old child was nearby when the shot was fired.

Uhlenhake was spotted two days later outside his home by a Celina police officer.

Police said they found a marijuana grow operation inside the house when Uhlenhake was taken into custody.

A search uncovered a firearm, two large bags of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
