Troopers identify crash victim

CLARK COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) – A driver had to be rescued from his car after crashing in Clark County early Wednesday morning.

Rescue crews found the victim, Nathanael Grafton, 21, of Springfield, at 5:45 on Old Clifton Road.  It took more than an hour to free him.

They say Grafton somehow lost control and his car drove off the right side of the road striking a mailbox and a tree.

He was flown to Miami Valley Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
