Ex-soccer coach sentenced for raping 13-year-old girl

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – A former soccer coach will spend seven years in prison of raping a 13-year-old girl.

McKenna Jordan, 38, of Dayton, was sentenced on rape and sexual battery charges.

He is a former coach with the Warrior Soccer Club in Huber Heights. He was found guilty of a having a sexual relationship with the girl, who told a family member about the abuse.

The victim is now 16. She read a letter in court Thursday that said in part, “he violated me. I have nightmares and attempted suicide many times.”

Jordan coached the girl on his team, but he still denied the charges in court. “I am denying everything. Til my dying breath, I will deny all of this. I am not guilty.”

In addition to prison time, Jordan will be on five years probation and will be labeled a sex offender.
