K9 track robbery suspects in Fairborn

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – Three men are under arrest for robbing a Dollar General store in Fairborn.

Employees told police the suspects forced them to empty the cash registers and swiped cigarettes.

Police say the suspects then took off from the East Dayton-Yellow Springs Road location, but left a trail.

K9 units were able to track the men to a nearby apartment.

Police say they found the stolen loot and took the three suspects into custody.

Bryce Bentley, 18, of Yellow Springs and Keenan Watson, 18, of of Dayton, are charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping.

Donzel Lewis, 19, of Fairborn, is charged with complicity to aggravated robbery and complicity to kidnapping.

All three await their first court appearance.
