Man arrested for stealing car at gunpoint

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Dayton man is behind bars for stealing a car at gunpoint.

Derrick Warren, 19, was arrested for aggravated robbery, obstructing official business, and failure to comply.

According to officials, Warren approached a woman in the 100 block of South Euclid Avenue Saturday after 9 p.m. Police stated he pointed a gun at her and then stole her car. Officers said he fled on South Euclid Avenue onto Fifth Street.

Officers caught up with Warren in the 400 block of Dakota Street and arrested him.
