Several hurt in crash, officials close road to clear scene

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Several people were hurt in a crash in Dayton that caused officials to close a road.

The accident happened around 11 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of West Third Street and North Euclid Avenue when two cars collided. The accident happened right in front of a church.

At least three medics were called to the scene.

Police had to close the road while crews worked to clear the scene.

Several people, including some children were transported to the hospital. Injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. It is unclear how many people were hurt.

Officials are still looking into what caused the vehicles to collide.
