DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Police want to talk to the person who called and reported an incident possibly involving a child in a north Dayton neighborhood Monday morning.

The caller told police a partially clothed and bleeding female child ran from a house in the 200 block of Marathon Avenue before being pulled back inside by an adult male.

Officers arrived and blocked off the area around Marathon and Linda Vista avenues and began to investigate.

After nearly two hours, they were unable to find any victim or any signs of foul play.
