Wounded man goes to gas station for help

A man with a gunshot wound went to a Speedway gas station on Needmore Road around 3 a.m. Monday pleading for help.

Investigators told 2 NEWS the shooting happened at the Eagle Ridge apartments on Norris Drive. They said someone pulled up in a car and shot the victim.

The Dayton Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are working together on the investigation.

Police have not identified the victim or released his condition.

No suspects have been named.
