WSU: Man targeted women on campus

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – Wright State University issued a warning Thursday after a man attempted to grab two different women on campus Wednesday.

WSU tells 2 NEWS the man followed one woman into a restroom in the library. As she exited the stall, she encountered the man with his pants unzipped and told police he tried to grab her. The woman screamed and was able to escape.

In a second incident, university officials say the same man tried to grab a woman as they rode in an elevator in Millett Hall.

The suspect is described as a man of Middle Eastern descent, who stood 6’2″ to 6’4″ and has a medium build. The was wearing a black leather jacked, dark jeans and brown shoes.

The university is asking everyone to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicions or concerns to campus police.
