Mercer County man arrested in drug sting

CELINA, Ohio (WDTN) – A Celina man was arrested Wednesday in a sting operation conducted by the Celina Police Department and the Grand Lake Drug Task Force.

Daniel Hierholzer, 25, was taken into custody during a traffic stop after police said an informant bought suspected drugs.

Hierholzer, who was a passenger in the car, was jailed on charges drug trafficking and possession of drugs.  Hierholzer was a passenger in the car.

Charges of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs are  pending against the driver, Eric Adams, 24, also from Celina.
