Man in jail after assault at Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Dayton man is arrested for an assault at Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers.

Patrick Jeter, 33, was arrested on charges of felonious assault, criminal trespassing, obstructing official business, resisting arrest, and possessing drug abuse instruments.

Police were called to Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers at 33 South Jefferson Street after 11:30 p.m. Friday.

According to officers, Jeter stole a man’s cell phone, left and then came back. When he returned, he reportedly argued with the victim and when another man intervened, Jeter punched that man in the face.

Jeter then fled the scene but police caught up with him.

He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
