Shots fired into home with mom and kids inside

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating after shots were fired into a house while a mother and her children were inside.

Police were called to the 600 block of West Norman Avenue after 2:30 p.m. Friday.

When officers arrived, they spoke with a homeowner who said she was upstairs in her home with her three children when she heard multiple gunshots fired.

A neighbor told police she saw a green four-door car pull up in front of the house and a passenger in the front seat  fired several shots and then drove away.

Police found shell casings in the street as well as two bullet holes through the front window of the home.
