DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – CareSource is taking over more Downtown office space.

The Dayton-based company will occupy space in the building at 220 East Monument Avenue.

The previous  occupant was WorkflowOne, who was recently acquired by Standard Register.

“This location allows CareSource to maintain its strong commitment to the downtown Dayton area,” Pam Morris President and CEO, said. “After considering a number of properties we decided on the Monument location because it’s adjacent to our headquarters, offers a great location to grow and it was close to occupancy ready which meets our immediate needs.”

CareSource will have access to the first four floors and will sublease the fifth floor to current tenant Deloitte, who will remain in the building.

The move won’t directly add jobs, but will give CareSource more space for growth. The company is shifting 200 current members of its Business Operations Team to the new building, but it has plans to add 253 workers this year throughout its Dayton locations.

Morris says health care reform has played a big role in the added jobs.

“A lot of that’s really been driven by the Affordable Care Act and new opportunities to serve more members who were previously uninsured and who couldn’t get access to affordable health coverage, which is now available through the federal marketplace,” Morris says.

The company will begin moving workers to the new space in August. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
