ODOT announces I-70 project

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is kicking-off construction season with big news for the Miami Valley.

ODOT announced plans to add lanes to Interstate 70 from Airport Access Road to SR 48, making the freeway three lanes in both directions.

The $50 million project is scheduled to start in May.

ODOT plans to spend $2.5 billion across the state on road projects this year.
