The 16-month-old girl was discovered dead in her bed in February 2013.

The court dismissed involuntary manslaughter charges against her because she testified against the father of the child, Scott Webber.

“She told me directly in the weeks proceeding the trial, she believed he was the boss of the pope in this situation. He made the calls and she did basically what he directed her to do.”

Webber is awaiting his sentence.

Jones has already served 56 days of her 90 day sentence.

She will also have to complete 100 hours community service and attend drug classes. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
