DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Officers are searching for a suspect in an aggravated burglary.

Police were called to Utah Court after 12 a.m. Saturday.

The three brothers told police they were at home in the living room playing video games when they heard a loud knock at the door. When one of the brothers opened the door, the suspect pushed his way inside and started to pull out a gun when he saw one of the brothers was holding a video game controller. When he told the suspect it was just a video game controller, the suspect re-holstered his gun. The brother said the suspect then started to make his way upstairs where their mother was sleeping.

The mother told police the suspect woke her up, she screamed, and then the suspect said “sorry” and ran downstairs and away from the scene.

The three brothers ran from the house to Cousin Vinny’s Pizza at the corner of Wayne Avenue and Utah Court to call police.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’10”, husky build, wearing a white baseball hat, brown jacket, and blue jeans.  He was carrying a white plastic bag and had a silver handgun.
