DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Officers are investigating after a woman was assaulted outside of a Dayton bar.

The victim told police she was having drinks with a friend inside Butch’s Bar located at 61 Boltin Street around 10 p.m. Friday. She said when she came outside, a group of guys was waiting for her and they began yelling and making racist remarks. The victim told police three women then punched her. She fought back but she fell on the ground and they kicked her.

She stated the men looked on and laughed as the women assaulted her.

Officers said the victim had cuts on her forehead and eye and was covered in blood. She was checked out by medics on the scene but refused to be transported to the hospital.

While police were investigating, they heard six to eight shots fired rapidly about one block away.

Police met with the victim’s friend who said he was going to “kill every last one” of the people who assaulted the victim.

Police are still investigating.
