Body found on Middletown bike trail

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WDTN) — Middletown Police are investigating after a man’s body was found on a bike trail.

Officers were called to the area of 9th and Maple Street around 8:40 a.m. Sunday.

When police arrived, they found a male victim on the bike path. According to officers, he did not have any vital signs and a large amount of blood was near his body.

Officials say the man’s death is suspicious and the investigation is ongoing.

The identity of the victim will not be released until next of kin is notified.
