Missing juvenile in Huber Heights has been found

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) — The search for 11-year-old Dylan J. Hess of Huber Heights that began around 11:52 p.m. on Saturday, ended early Sunday morning when Dylan was returned home to his mother.

On Saturday, Dylan’s mother called police advising her son left the house without permission. She believed that he had gone to a local pond to go fishing.

Police and fire searched his last known location in the area of Belleplain and Bellefontaine Drive, but initially were not able to locate the boy. Officers also talked with friends and searched several areas, including Rip Rap Road  along the river but never found anything.

Around 8:50 a.m. Sunday Huber Heights Police informed 2 NEWS he has been found and returned safe to his mother.
