6 businesses cited for selling alcohol to minors


HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – Six Huber Heights businesses were caught selling alcohol to minors.

The Ohio Department of Public Safety and Huber Heights police conducted compliance checks Friday. They checked 23 establishments. Six sold to underaged customers.

The stores are Ray’s Drive Thru, 202 Drive Thru, Ameristop on Old Troy Road, Speedway at 6000 Brandt Pike, Kricket’s Tavern and Cape Bar.

Six people are now charged with illegal underaged sales and must appear in court.

The Ohio Liquor Control Commission will also investigate the status of the businesses’ liquor licenses after the cases are finalized in court.

All six could lose their liquor licenses.
