DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Michelle McKnight was killed by two bullets to the head, the Montgomery County coroner said Monday.

McKnight’s body was found Friday along the bank of the Stillwater River in Harrison Township.

Dayton Police Chief Richard Biehl said there is no sign of McKnight’s 4-year-old son, Zaden.  ”We have every reason to believe the 4-year-old is also not alive,” said Biehl.

Biehl said the boy was last seen wearing a t-shirt with a truck on the front, jeans, a yellow and blue coat, “Lightning McQueen” cartoon velcro shoes and a “Despicable Me Minions” yellow toboggan.

Detectives have been actively searching for McKnight and her son since their suspect, Antwan Anderson, shot himself last week after a short pursuit with police.
