DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A key figure in the disappearance of a Dayton mother and her son is now formally charged.

A grand jury indicted Tonisha Harris on eight charges Tuesday afternoon.

Dayton police say Harris and Antwan Anderson used Nichelle McKnight’s stolen credit card.

Police believe Anderson killed McKnight and her 4-year-old son, Zaden.

Police say he killed himself after a short chase with police last week.

McKnight’s body was found Friday near the Stillwater River in Harrison Township.

Her son has not been located.
