Construction crew hits gas line at Camden school

CAMDEN, Ohio (WDTN) – Students were evacuated from Camden Primary School after a gas leak at the school Wednesday afternoon.

Preble County dispatchers tell 2 NEWS all the children were safe and no injuries were reported.

The school is located at 120 Bloomfield Street.

Police say construction crews working on the playground hit the gas line.

The students were evacuated to a nearby church where their parents picked them up.
